Art & Craft

Arts and crafts describe a wide variety of activities involving making things with one's own hands. Arts and crafts are usually a hobby. Some crafts (art skills) have been practised for centuries, others are more recent inventions.

Students enjoy arts and crafts. Students learn skills such as woodworking, carving, sewing, or making things with all sorts of materials.

Craft Involve:

· Stamping (with a rubber stamp)

· Lace-making

· Needlepoint

· Doll making

· Sewing

Computer Lab

We have computer lab with internet access. Each computer in a lab is loaded with Microsoft Office XP and various other software applications. Students are come in lab and prepare their Power-point presentations.

Students can also improve their typing skills using the Microsoft word software. They can also prepare their resumes and subject notes using the Microsoft word software. A software “Language Lab Software” which is installed in the lab, it is used to improve the communication skills of a student.

Library

The library occupies a very important place in college. We have total 4581 books including journals for B.Ed and D.Ed students. These books are used by the students in their studies. These books are written by different writers, some of them are national and international writers. Library also has a separate study room where students can read books, magazines and newspapers. The library has got very wholesome effect over the work of college. The library is thus, a common platform upon which all students meet on a common level with equal opportunities.

Psychology Lab

Psychology is the study of mind and behavior. It is an academic discipline and an applied science which seeks to understand individuals and groups by establishing general principles and researching specific cases.

In Psychology some test are done on students and they are:

1.     Intelligence test- verbal & non-verbal: under this test student’s intelligence information is collected.

2.     Vocational Interest Test: in this test student’s Commercial interest is tested.

Language Lab

The language lab is an audio or audio-visual installation used as an aid in modern language teaching. They can be found, amongst other places, in schools , universities , and academies. The principle of a language lab essentially has not changed. They are still a teacher-controlled system connected to a number of student booths, containing a student's control mechanism and a headset with a microphone. Digital language labs have the same principle. A software-only language lab changes the concept of where and what a language lab is. Software can be installed and accessed on any networked PC anywhere on a school, college, or university campus. Software-only systems can be located in one room, from room-to-room or campus-to-campus.
