COURSE : Bachelor of Education
Duration : 2 year
Eligibility : Graduation from any recognized University with 50% .
Medium : Hindi and English
Total Seats : 100
Fees : 35,000 Per Year
A candidate for the degree of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) must have passed a Bachelor's degree examination of any University recognized as equivalent thereto with a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate at the Bachelor's degree examination and must have offered subjects relating to secondary/Higher Secondary level as per the requirements laid down by the State Government in that regard. Relaxation of the minimum percentage of marks at the Bachelor's degree examination for candidates from Reserved Categories and serving teachers will be as per State Government rules made from time to time in that respect. Completed a course of practical work extending over two terms.
Entrance examination for B.Ed: Madhya Pradesh have entrance examinations that help in the screening of the students who have applied for the course. The examinations are conducted by the state boards of secondary and school education boards.Institution consisting of:(a)Attendance at Demonstration lessons.(b) Teaching practice of not less than 20 lessons distributed over different standards from(Vth to XIIth of recognized Secondary and Higher Secondary School selected by the Principal as Practicing school. )(c)Observation of Teaching as directed.(d)Internship of at least one week duration.AIM of the Program :1.To acquire knowledge and develop understanding about the various procedures and techniques of evaluation and their classroom application.2.To develop skills involved in selecting, developing and using evaluation tools.3. To provide knowledge and develop understanding about various aspects of school management.4. To develop competencies for organizing various instructional and student support activities

The government of India has realized the importance of educating the children in order to make way for a more aware youth that will contribute towards the progress of the nation. This is the source of the huge demand for teachers today. D.Ed the diploma in education is a two-year full time Diploma programme. For students who cannot afford to invest in B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) course, this is definitely a wise alternative. The diploma in education can be pursued after completion of the 10+2 examinations and it would enable the students to apply for teaching posts in kindergarden schools. The course provides knowledge regarding a number of aspects of education like language, education policy, literacy, curriculum and information technology. As far as the eligibility of this course is concerned, the students need to have passed their 10+2 examinations from a recognized board.
